1. Bangkok
Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand and a must-visit destination. From the Grand Palace to the bustling markets, there is so much to see and do. One of my favorite experiences was visiting the Wat Pho temple, which houses the famous Reclining Buddha statue. It’s truly a sight to behold.
Tip: Be sure to try the street food in Bangkok. The Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup are must-tries.
2. Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is a city in northern Thailand known for its temples and stunning natural beauty. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Doi Inthanon National Park, which has incredible waterfalls and hiking trails. The Night Bazaar in Chiang Mai is also a great place to shop for souvenirs.
Tip: If you’re a foodie, be sure to take a cooking class in Chiang Mai to learn how to make traditional Thai dishes.
