My Personal Experience with America’s Got Talent
As someone who has always loved watching talent shows, I was thrilled when America’s Got Talent premiered in 2006. I’ve been hooked ever since. In fact, I even auditioned for the show myself a few years back! While I didn’t make it past the initial audition, it was still an incredible experience that I will never forget.
That being said, I have to say that this season’s top 5 finalists are some of the best I’ve ever seen on the show. They are all incredibly talented in their own unique ways.

Roberta Battaglia
Roberta Battaglia is a 10-year-old singer from Toronto, Canada. She has wowed the judges and the audience with her incredible voice and stage presence. Her rendition of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” in the Judge Cuts round earned her the Golden Buzzer from Sofia Vergara. Roberta has consistently impressed throughout the competition, and she’s definitely one to watch in the future.
Brandon Leake
Brandon Leake is a 27-year-old spoken word poet from Stockton, California. He’s the first spoken word artist to compete on America’s Got Talent, and he’s made quite the impression. His emotional performances have moved both the judges and the audience to tears. His performance in the quarterfinals, where he dedicated a poem to his sister who passed away, was especially powerful.
