Materials Needed

• One square sheet of yellow paper (15cm x 15cm)
• One square sheet of black paper (7.5cm x 7.5cm)
• One square sheet of red paper (3cm x 3cm)
• Scissors

Step by Step Guide

Follow these steps to make your very own Origami Pikachu:

1. Start with the yellow paper, colored side up. Fold it in half diagonally, crease well, and then unfold.
2. Next, fold the paper in half diagonally the other way, crease well, and then unfold.
3. Now, fold the paper in half vertically, crease well, and then unfold.
4. Finally, fold the paper in half horizontally, crease well, and then unfold. You should now have a square with creases like an X shape.
5. Take the top layer of the right corner and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
6. Repeat step 5 on the left corner.
7. Turn the paper over, and fold the bottom edge up to the top edge. Crease well and then unfold.
8. Take the right corner and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
9. Repeat step 8 on the left corner.
10. Take the top layer of the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
11. Take the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
12. Now, fold the paper in half along the vertical crease, crease well and then unfold.
13. Take the top layer of the right corner and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
14. Repeat step 13 on the left corner.
15. Take the top layer of the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
16. Take the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
17. Now, fold the paper in half along the horizontal crease, crease well and then unfold.
18. Take the top layer of the right corner and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
19. Repeat step 18 on the left corner.
20. Take the top layer of the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
21. Take the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
22. Now, fold the paper in half along the diagonal crease, crease well and then unfold.
23. Take the top layer of the right corner and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
24. Repeat step 23 on the left corner.
25. Take the top layer of the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
26. Take the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
27. Now, fold the paper in half along the other diagonal crease, crease well and then unfold.
28. Take the top layer of the right corner and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
29. Repeat step 28 on the left corner.
30. Take the top layer of the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
31. Take the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
32. Now, fold the paper in half along the horizontal crease, crease well and then unfold.
33. Take the bottom edge and fold it upwards to the center crease. Crease well.
34. Take the top edge and fold it downwards to the center crease. Crease well.
35. Now, fold the paper in half along the vertical crease, crease well and then unfold.
36. Take the right edge and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
37. Take the left edge and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
38. You should now have a diamond shape with a crease down the center.
39. Take the top layer of the right edge and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
40. Repeat step 43 on the left edge.
41. Turn the paper over and repeat steps 42-44 on the other side.
42. Take the top layer of the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
43. Take the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
44. Now, fold the paper in half along the horizontal crease, crease well and then unfold.
45. Take the bottom edge and fold it upwards to the center crease. Crease well.
46. Take the top edge and fold it downwards to the center crease. Crease well.
47. You should now have a diamond shape with a crease down the center.
48. Take the top layer of the right edge and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
49. Repeat step 54 on the left edge.
50. Turn the paper over and repeat steps 53-55 on the other side.
51. Take the top layer of the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
52. Take the bottom edge and fold it upwards, crease well.
53. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the diamond shape.
54. Take the black paper and fold it in half diagonally, crease well, and then unfold.
55. Now fold the paper in half diagonally the other way, crease well, and then unfold.
56. Take one corner of the black paper and fold it towards the center crease, crease well.
57. Repeat step 63 on the other corner of the black paper.
58. Take the top layer of the bottom edge of the black paper and fold it upwards, crease well.
59. Take the bottom edge of the black paper and fold it upwards, crease well.
60. Now, fold the paper in half along the diagonal crease, crease well and then unfold.
61. Take the right corner of the black paper and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
62. Repeat step 70 on the left corner.
63. Now, fold the top layer of the bottom edge of the black paper upwards, crease well.
64. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the black paper.
65. Take the red paper and fold it in half diagonally, crease well, and then unfold.
66. Now fold the paper in half diagonally the other way, crease well, and then unfold.
67. Take one corner of the red paper and fold it towards the center crease, crease well.

69. Now, fold the paper in half along the horizontal crease, crease well and then unfold.

78. Now, fold the top layer of the bottom edge of the yellow paper upwards, crease well.
79. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the yellow paper.
80. Take the black paper and fold it in half along the diagonal crease, crease well and then unfold.
81. Place the black paper on top of the yellow paper, lining up the creases.
82. Take the right corner of the black paper and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
83. Repeat step 96 on the left corner.
84. Now, fold the top layer of the black paper upwards, crease well.
85. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the black paper.
86. Take the red paper and place it on top of the black paper, lining up the creases.
87. Take the bottom edge of the red paper and fold it upwards to the center crease. Crease well.
88. Take the top edge of the red paper and fold it downwards to the center crease. Crease well.
89. You should now have a small square at the bottom of the red paper.
90. Take the black paper and fold the top layer of the bottom edge upwards, crease well.
91. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the black paper.
92. Take the yellow paper and fold the bottom edge upwards to the center crease. Crease well.
93. Take the top edge downwards to the center crease. Crease well.
94. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the yellow paper.
95. Take the black paper and place it on top of the yellow paper and red paper, lining up the creases.
96. Take the right corner of the black paper and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.

98. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the black paper.
99. Take the top layer of the black paper and fold it upwards, crease well.
100. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the black paper.
101. Take the yellow paper and fold the top layer of the bottom edge upwards, crease well.
102. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the yellow paper.
103. Take the black paper and place it on top of the yellow paper, lining up the creases.
104. Take the right corner of the black paper and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
105. Repeat step 129 on the left corner.
106. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the black paper.
107. Take the top layer of the black paper and fold it upwards, crease well.

145. Take the black paper and place it on top of the yellow paper, lining up the creases.
146. Take the right corner of the black paper and fold it towards the center crease. Crease well.
147. Repeat step 200 on the left corner.
148. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the black paper.
149. Take the top layer of the black paper and fold it upwards, crease well.
150. You should now have a small triangle at the bottom of the black paper.
