Long hair can get in the way, making it difficult to execute certain moves or leaving you vulnerable to being grabbed or pulled by your hair. Additionally, if you&#8217;re wearing a ponytail or bun, it can become loose and fall out, causing distractions or impairing your vision.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hairstyles_for_Self_Defense\"><\/span>Hairstyles for Self Defense<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Here are some hairstyles that will keep your hair out of your face and won&#8217;t get in the way during self defense classes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Braids: French braids, Dutch braids, or simple braids are all great options. They keep your hair secure and out of the way, and can easily be tucked into a ponytail holder.<\/li>\n<li>Bun or Top Knot: Make sure your bun or top knot is tight and secure. Add extra bobby pins if needed to keep it in place.<\/li>\n<li>Half-Up, Half-Down: This style keeps hair out of your face while still allowing you to wear your hair down.
