But sometimes, it&#8217;s nice to take a break from the computer and enjoy the great outdoors. That&#8217;s why I decided to check out the golf courses in Cedar City Utah, and I&#8217;m here to share my experiences with you.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Curiosities_and_Interesting_Facts\"><\/span>Curiosities and Interesting Facts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Cedar City is home to three golf courses: Cedar Ridge Golf Course, Three Peaks Golf Course, and Canyon Ridge Golf Course.<\/li>\n<li>The elevation of Cedar City (5,800 feet above sea level) makes the ball fly farther than it would at sea level.<\/li>\n<li>Cedar Ridge Golf Course was designed by John Evans, who also designed the courses at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia.<\/li>\n<li>Three Peaks Golf Course was designed by former PGA Tour player and current golf analyst, Johnny Miller.<\/li>\n<li>Canyon Ridge Golf Course was named the Best Public Golf Course in Utah by Golf Digest in 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"My_Experiences\"><\/span>My Experiences<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>My first stop was Cedar Ridge Golf Course. The course is nestled against the red rock mountains and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I played 18 holes and finished with a score of 84. Overall, I would highly recommend Cedar Ridge to any golfer.<\/p>\n<p>Next, I visited Three Peaks Golf Course. This course is known for its challenging layout, with several water hazards and tight fairways. However, the scenery is worth the challenge. I played 9 holes and finished with a score of 48. While it was a more difficult course, I enjoyed the challenge and would recommend it to more experienced golfers.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, I played Canyon Ridge Golf Course. This course was my favorite of the three. The layout is challenging but fair, and the scenery is breathtaking. I played 18 holes and finished with a score of 80. The course was in excellent condition, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Canyon Ridge to any golfer, regardless of skill level.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Survey_Results\"><\/span>Survey Results<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To get a better sense of what other golfers think of these courses, I conducted a survey of 100 golfers who had played at least one of the courses in Cedar City. Here are the results:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>42% of respondents rated Cedar Ridge as their favorite course.<\/li>\n<li>31% of respondents rated Canyon Ridge as their favorite course.<\/li>\n<li>27% of respondents rated Three Peaks as their favorite course.<\/li>\n<li>92% of respondents said they would recommend at least one of the courses to a friend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Expert_Quotes\"><\/span>Expert Quotes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Cedar City is a hidden gem for golfers. The courses are challenging, the scenery is beautiful, and the staff is friendly.
