been teaching in Michigan for over 10 years. I am excited to announce my candidacy for the MI State Board of Education Member. Whether it&#8217;s taking an online course to supplement traditional classroom learning or pursuing a fully online degree, there are many benefits to this mode of education.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Flexible scheduling and self-paced learning<\/li>\n<li>Access to a wider range of courses and programs<\/li>\n<li>Lower costs and reduced barriers to entry<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for career advancement and personal growth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As an educator, I have seen firsthand the positive impact that online education can have on students. This represents a 5.6% increase from the previous year and a continuation of the upward trend in online education.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, a study by the Babson Survey Research Group found that the number of students taking online courses has grown at a rate of approximately 5% per year since 2012.
