witnessed the shift towards online education in recent years. With the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for online education has increased exponentially. In this article, I will explore two forms of associative learning that have been proven effective in online education.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_Associative_Learning\"><\/span>What is Associative Learning?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Associative learning is a type of learning where an individual learns to associate two or more stimuli or events. There are two forms of associative learning:<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Classical_Conditioning\"><\/span>Classical Conditioning<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Classical conditioning is a form of associative learning where a neutral stimulus is paired with a stimulus that naturally triggers a response. Through repeated pairing, the neutral stimulus becomes associated with the natural trigger and elicits the same response. A classic example of classical conditioning is Pavlov&#8217;s dog experiment.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Operant_Conditioning\"><\/span>Operant Conditioning<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Operant conditioning is a form of associative learning where behavior is modified by its consequences. If a behavior is followed by a desirable consequence, the behavior is more likely to be repeated. Conversely, if a behavior is followed by an undesirable consequence, the behavior is less likely to be repeated. A classic example of operant conditioning is B.F. Associative learning can help overcome this challenge by providing students with structured and engaging learning experiences.
