Introduction
As an avid traveler and nature enthusiast, I have visited numerous national parks in the United States. Each park has its own unique charm and beauty, making it difficult to choose the top 10. However, after much consideration and personal experience, here is my list of the top 10 US national parks.

Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is one of the most well-known national parks in the United States. It is located mostly in Wyoming but also extends into Montana and Idaho. The park is famous for its geothermal features, including geysers, hot springs, and mud pots. The most famous of these features is Old Faithful, which erupts approximately every 90 minutes.
Aside from the geothermal features, Yellowstone also has a diverse range of wildlife, including bison, elk, wolves, and bears. Visitors can take guided tours, hike, camp, fish, and watch wildlife.
During my visit to Yellowstone, I took a guided tour and was able to see Old Faithful erupt. It was a truly unforgettable experience.
Grand Canyon National Park
The Grand Canyon is located in Arizona and is one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the world. The park is known for its dramatic landscape, which was formed by the Colorado River carving through the rock over millions of years.
Visitors can hike, camp, bike, and take helicopter tours of the canyon. There are also plenty of lookout points and hiking trails for all skill levels.
When I visited the Grand Canyon, I hiked the Bright Angel Trail and was able to see the canyon from a unique perspective. It was challenging but incredibly rewarding.
Yosemite National Park

One of the most popular attractions in Yosemite is Half Dome, a granite dome that offers stunning views of the park. Visitors can hike to the top of Half Dome, but it is a challenging 14-16 mile round trip hike.
During my visit to Yosemite, I hiked to the top of Vernal Fall and was able to see the stunning views of the park from above.
Acadia National Park
Acadia National Park is located in Maine and is known for its rugged coastline, rocky beaches, and granite peaks. The park is a popular destination for hiking, biking, and kayaking.
One of the most popular attractions in Acadia is Cadillac Mountain, which offers stunning views of the park and the surrounding ocean. Visitors can hike to the top of the mountain or take a scenic drive.
During my visit to Acadia, I took a kayaking tour of the coastline and was able to see the park from a unique perspective.
Glacier National Park

One of the most popular attractions in Rocky Mountain is Trail Ridge Road, a scenic drive that offers stunning views of the park. Visitors can also hike to the top of Longs Peak, the highest peak in the park.
During my visit to Rocky Mountain, I hiked to the top of Flattop Mountain and was able to see the park from a unique perspective.
Zion National Park

One of the most popular attractions in Zion is The Narrows, a narrow slot canyon that can be hiked in the Virgin River. Visitors can also hike to the top of Angel’s Landing, a challenging but rewarding hike that offers stunning views of the park.
During my visit to Zion, I hiked The Narrows and was able to see the stunning red rock canyons up close.
Grand Teton National Park
