Hi, I’m Emily Johnson, and I’m excited to share with you the top 10 tallest buildings in NYC! As a New Yorker, I’ve had the chance to visit most of these buildings and have some personal experiences to share. Let’s dive in!

One World Trade Center
Standing at 1,776 feet tall, One World Trade Center is not only the tallest building in NYC but also in the Western Hemisphere. I remember visiting the observation deck and being amazed by the stunning views of the city. It’s definitely a must-visit for any tourist!
Central Park Tower
As the second-tallest building in NYC, Central Park Tower stands at an impressive 1,550 feet (472 meters) tall. The building is home to luxury condos and apartments, and I’ve had the chance to visit a friend’s apartment on one of the higher floors. The views of Central Park and the city skyline are breathtaking!
111 West 57th Street
111 West 57th Street is a residential building that stands at 1,428 feet (435 meters) tall. What’s unique about this building is its skinny design, with a width-to-height ratio of 1:24. It’s a stunning architectural feat and definitely worth checking out!
Empire State Building
The Empire State Building, once the tallest building in the world, is now ranked 7th in NYC. It stands at 1,250 feet (381 meters) tall and has been an iconic landmark of NYC since its completion in 1931. I’ve visited the observation deck several times and always find it to be a magical experience.
One Vanderbilt
One Vanderbilt is the newest addition to the top 10 tallest buildings in NYC and stands at 1,401 feet (427 meters) tall. It’s located next to Grand Central Terminal and has become a popular spot for tourists to visit. The building also has a unique outdoor observation deck, which I highly recommend checking out!
432 Park Avenue
432 Park Avenue is a luxury residential building that stands at 1,396 feet (425 meters) tall. It’s known for its sleek design and stunning views of the city. While I haven’t personally visited the building, I’ve heard great things about the beautiful apartments and amenities.
30 Hudson Yards
30 Hudson Yards is an office and retail building that stands at 1,268 feet (386 meters) tall. It’s located in the Hudson Yards neighborhood and is a popular spot for shopping and dining. I’ve visited the building a few times and always enjoy the lively atmosphere!
Bank of America Tower
The Bank of America Tower stands at 1,200 feet (366 meters) tall and is located in Midtown Manhattan. It’s known for its eco-friendly design, with features such as a rainwater harvesting system and a green roof. I’ve always appreciated the building’s commitment to sustainability!
3 World Trade Center
3 World Trade Center is a commercial building that stands at 1,079 feet (329 meters) tall. It’s located in the World Trade Center complex and has become a popular spot for business and events. While I haven’t visited the building myself, I’ve heard great things about the stunning lobby and outdoor plaza!
