Why aren’t there any newer albums on your list?
Another great question! While there are certainly newer metal albums that are fantastic, I personally believe that the best metal albums were released in the ’70s, ’80s, and early ’90s. That’s not to say that there aren’t great metal albums being released today, but for me, the classics will always reign supreme.
