But over the years, I&#8217;ve developed a step-by-step routine that works wonders for my curls. In this article, I&#8217;ll be sharing my tips and tricks to help you achieve beautiful, defined curls.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_1_Cleansing\"><\/span>Step 1: Cleansing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>First things first, let&#8217;s talk about cleansing. Curly hair can be prone to buildup, so it&#8217;s important to use a clarifying shampoo once a month to remove any product buildup. For regular cleansing, I prefer a sulfate-free shampoo that&#8217;s gentle on my curls.
