Fold the paper in half diagonally both ways and unfold.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2: Fold the top layer of paper down to the bottom along the horizontal crease. Unfold.<\/p>\n<p>Step 3: Fold the top layer of paper to the center along the vertical crease. Unfold.<\/p>\n<p>Step 4: Fold the top layer of paper to the center along the diagonal crease. Unfold.<\/p>\n<p>Step 5: Fold the top layer of paper to the center along the opposite diagonal crease. Unfold.<\/p>\n<p>Step 6: Push the sides of the paper inwards along the horizontal creases, and flatten the paper into a diamond shape.<\/p>\n<p>Step 7: Fold the top layer of the left side of the diamond to the center along the vertical crease. However, the end result is always worth it. I prefer using a square piece of paper that is slightly thicker than regular origami paper as it holds the folds better.
