As an educator who is passionate about music education, I have always been excited about the month of March. Why? Because March is Music in Our Schools Month (MIOSM)! This is a time when we celebrate the importance of music education in our schools and communities.
What is Music in Our Schools Month?
MIOSM is a month-long celebration of music education that takes place every March. It was created by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) in order to raise awareness about the importance of music education and to advocate for its inclusion in schools across the country.
