According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, over 30% of cats over the age of 10 have some degree of kidney disease.<\/li>\n<li>The main goal of a kidney disease diet for cats is to reduce the workload on the kidneys and slow down the progression of the disease. This can be achieved by feeding a high-quality, low-protein, and low-phosphorus diet.<\/li>\n<li>Fancy Feast offers several varieties of cat food labeled as grilled or flaked that are marketed as having tender bites and high-quality protein.
