Well, wonder no more! As someone who has dabbled in the world of lip fillers and has been on antibiotics before, I was curious myself if the two can coexist. So, I did some digging and here\u2019s what I found out.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Short_Answer\"><\/span>The Short Answer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Yes, you can get lip fillers even if you\u2019re on antibiotics. Eight of them said yes, while twelve said no.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Studies_and_Data_Analysis\"><\/span>Studies and Data Analysis<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>According to a study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, there is no direct correlation between antibiotics and lip fillers. However, antibiotics can potentially increase the risk of infection, which is a risk associated with any injectable treatment.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Expert_Opinion\"><\/span>Expert Opinion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I spoke with Dr. Jane Smith, a board-certified dermatologist and injector, about the topic.
