So, let&#8217;s dive in!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_Astigmatism\"><\/span>What is Astigmatism?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Astigmatism is a common eye condition that affects the way light enters the eye, causing blurry or distorted vision. It occurs when the cornea (the clear outer layer of the eye) is shaped more like a football than a basketball. This irregular shape causes light to focus on multiple points on the retina, instead of just one, resulting in blurred vision.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_20_20_Vision\"><\/span>What is 20 20 Vision?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>20 20 vision is a term used to describe normal visual acuity, or the ability to see clearly at a distance of 20 feet. It means that a person can see the same line of letters on an eye chart that a person with normal vision can see at 20 feet away.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_You_Have_Astigmatism_and_20_20_Vision-2\"><\/span>Can You Have Astigmatism and 20 20 Vision?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The short answer is yes, you can have astigmatism and still have 20 20 vision. While astigmatism can cause blurry or distorted vision, it doesn&#8217;t necessarily mean that a person&#8217;s visual acuity is affected. In fact, many people with astigmatism have normal visual acuity and can see clearly at a distance of 20 feet.<\/p>\n<p>However, it&#8217;s important to note that not all cases of astigmatism are the same.
