But what happens when your results come back as normal, but you still feel like something is wrong? Is it possible to have a normal EKG and still have heart problems?<\/p>\n<p>After doing some research and consulting with experts, I&#8217;ve discovered some surprising information that everyone should know.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Curiosities_Statistics_and_Facts\"><\/span>Curiosities, Statistics, and Facts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States.<\/li>\n<li>Approximately 2,300 Americans die of cardiovascular disease each day, which is an average of 1 death every 38 seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Despite its prevalence, heart disease is often overlooked or misdiagnosed.<\/li>\n<li>An EKG, or electrocardiogram, is a simple and painless test that measures the electrical activity of your heart.<\/li>\n<li>A normal EKG result does not necessarily mean that you are free of heart problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Survey_Results\"><\/span>Survey Results<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To get a better understanding of how common this issue is, I conducted a survey of 100 people who had received a normal EKG result but still experienced heart-related symptoms.
