John is Number Four and has been living with his guardian, Henri, in the small town of Paradise, Ohio. <\/p>\n<p>One day, John begins to exhibit strange powers and discovers that he is a Lorien. He is forced to flee Paradise and travels with Henri to the small town of Ashwood, Florida. Here, he meets a girl named Sarah, who helps him understand the powers he possesses. Together, they work to protect themselves from the Mogadorians.<\/p>\n<p>John and Sarah soon discover that there are other survivors like John, and that each of them possess special powers. They join forces to protect themselves and the other survivors.
