Throughout their journey, Don Quixote and Sancho are also pursued by a number of other characters, such as Don Quixote&#8217;s niece and housekeeper, who are trying to bring him back home. <\/p>\n<p>Eventually, Don Quixote and Sancho return to their hometown, where Don Quixote is brought back to sanity by his niece. He renounces his knighthood and his quest and decides to live out the remainder of his days peacefully.
