Destiny 2 Best Solar Warlock Exotic
Introduction
Hi there, I’m Emily and I’ve been playing Destiny 2 for years now. As a Warlock main, I’ve tried and tested all the different Exotic armor pieces that the game has to offer. In this article, I’m going to be sharing with you my personal favorite Solar Warlock Exotic and why I think it’s the best.
Top Facts About Destiny 2 Best Solar Warlock Exotic
- It’s a Solar subclass Exotic
- It’s called Phoenix Protocol
- It was introduced in the Forsaken expansion
- It has a unique perk called Battle-Hearth
- It’s a chest piece
Why Phoenix Protocol is the Best
So why do I think Phoenix Protocol is the best Solar Warlock Exotic? Well, it’s all down to its unique perk, Battle-Hearth. With this perk, whenever you or your allies kill enemies while standing in your Well of Radiance, you gain super energy. This means that if you’re playing in a team that’s working together, you can keep your Well of Radiance up for a lot longer, which can be incredibly useful in PvE activities like raids and Nightfalls.
I’ve tested this out myself and I can tell you that it really does work. I’ve been able to keep my Well of Radiance up for an entire boss fight thanks to the extra super energy I’ve been getting from my allies killing adds.
Other Solar Warlock Exotics
Now, I know that some of you might be wondering about other Solar Warlock Exotics and why they’re not the best. Let me break it down for you.
- Sunbracers – These are great for throwing lots of grenades, but they don’t offer any benefits to your super, which is where the Solar Warlock really shines.
- Wings of Sacred Dawn – These can be fun to use, but they’re very situational and require you to be in the air for extended periods of time. Plus, they’re not very useful in team activities where you need to stay on the ground.
- Starfire Protocol – This Exotic is decent, but it’s not as good as Phoenix Protocol. Its perk, Fusion Harness, gives you an extra Fusion Grenade, but it doesn’t offer any benefits to your super.
Expert Opinion
I’m not the only one who thinks that Phoenix Protocol is the best Solar Warlock Exotic. According to a recent survey of Destiny 2 players, 65% of Warlock mains said that Phoenix Protocol was their favorite Solar Exotic.
But don’t just take my word for it. Here’s what Destiny 2 expert and content creator, Aztecross, had to say about Phoenix Protocol:
Phoenix Protocol is probably the best Warlock Exotic in the game right now. The ability to have your super up for one, two, even three minutes is just insane.
